Daily Cleaning Practices

We suggest you clean the sinks as you would a stainless steel pot, use a mild detergent with a sponge, rinse and dry off. From time to time you may also polish it as to restore it to its original beauty and shine using “Never-Dull” (purchased at any auto supply shop) or any polishing cream for stainless steel of your choice.

Things to Avoid

Do not use harsh chemicals inside the sink; if you would not put it on your hands don’t put it in the sink. Bleaches, acids, thinners, etc. Be advised that some foods contain acids, such as lemons. If you do rinse off and dry clean ASAP.
Never lay rusted objects or objects prone to rusting inside the sink, although the sink itself is incapable of rusting it will stain if a rusted foreign object is laid in it.

Troubleshooting

Q: I scratched or dented my sink, what do I do? A: There is no way to avoid minor dents and scratched, in time they will blend in. If you are extremely bothered by them try using a metal polish, we have had success with a brand called “Top Brite”, it will work on minor scratches.

Q: I stained my sink by mistake, what do I do? A: Rinse off the sink and clean immediately, if it’s too late read on. We have been using “Never-Dull”; it will remove almost anything, even rust.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH carries a “NO HASSLE” LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY ON CRUZIN DESIGNS sinks to be free of all manufacturing defects under normal use.

LIMITED SINK WARRANTY CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH will replace without charge, (excluding labor) any Stainless Steel or Porcelain sink supplied by us that is proven to be defective, with an equivalent replacement, within the specified appropriate period from date of purchase, to the original owner, provided it has been used solely in a residential application and installed in accordance with our installation instructions, used and cleaned as recommended, and not damaged due to abuse, misuse, or negligence. (In the event of a warranty claim, the owner will be required to provide proof of purchase - save sales receipt.)

This warranty will not cover any damages which might be caused by the product. (Some states do not allow such limitation, so this reference may not apply to you.)

CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH reserves the right to inspect any sink reported to be defective prior to replacement of the sink. All decisions are final. Replacement cost EXCLUDES transportation and any labor costs for the removal or reinstallation.

CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH shall not be liable in case of:
* Improper installation/modification
* Damages resulting from abuse, such as heavy impact or dropped objects
* Improper care or maintenance
* Improper applications (such as exposure to corrosive chemicals,
photographic solutions, etc.)
* Any modifications made to the product after it has left Stone Industrial Supplies’ premises
* Commercial application

This warranty supersedes all other warranties, expressed or implied.

The foregoing warranties are exclusive and made only for the buyer. NO OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESSED, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE SHALL BE DEEMED TO EXIST IN CONNECTION WITH ANY OF THE GOODS OR SERVICES SUPPLIED HEREUNDER, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR A PERIOD GREATER THAN THE WARRANTY PERIOD CONTAINED IN CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH’S LIMITED WARRANTY ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED. CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE GOODS OR SERVICES SUPPLIED HEREUNDER. No employee, agent, or other person is authorized to give any warranties on behalf of CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH, in addition to or different from the herein given to assume for CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH. Any other liability in connection with any of its products except if in writing which is signed by an officer of CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH and expressly and intentionally gives such warranties or assumes such liability.

CUSTOM ACCESSORIES WARRANTY
CRUZIN DESIGNS KITCHEN & BATH carries a 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY ON ALL CUSTOM ACCESSORIES FOR CRUZIN DESIGNS to be free of all manufacturing defects under normal use.

PORCELAIN SINKS

Porcelain sinks are durable and easy to clean. The finish inside the bowl is very high quality with a nice (removable if needed) chrome ring in the overflow hole.

Do not lay tea bags or coffee inside the sink, if you do rinse and dry immediately.
Sodas like coke can stain the sink if not rinsed out immediately.
This sink does not resist abuse very well, handle pots and pans with care.
Do not use the sink as a cutting surface: rather, use a cutting board made of hardwood or polyethylene, which can be purchased together with the sink. The use of wire baskets or small tubs made of polycarbonate (which can be purchased together with the sink) can reduce the risk of accidental damage.
Do not use detergents, abrasive substances or metal cleaning pads to clean the sink because they could scratch the surface, making it susceptible to stains.
Heavy or pointed objects that fall on the surface of the sink can damage it.
Scratches and chips on the surface of the sink can be removed using sandpaper and then a coat of polish.
CAUTION! Do not pour alcohol, gasoline, trichloroacetic acid or any solvents in general into or onto the sink because they could react with the chemical structure of the sink and damage it beyond repair.
